Description
MS Survivor and advocate Nancy Davis and Tommy Hilfiger will celebrate the 19th Annual Race to Erase MS event at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles on May 18, 2012. Each year since its inception the celebrity-filled gala has raised millions for the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis and its Center Without Walls program, a selected network of the nations top six research centers that operates with one mutual goal: to always communicate and never duplicate medical research. This year’s star-studded evening, entitled “Glam Rock to Erase MS,” will feature exciting live musical performances by vocal quartet The Tenors and American Idol winner David Cook, as well as a specially-choreographed dance performance by Derek Hough. Additionally, Teri Garr and Deb and Bill MacMillan will be presented with the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis “Medal of Hope” Award. --Tickets to the 19th Annual Race to Erase MS start at $1,000 and tables start at $10,000. To purchase tickets for the event, please contact info@erasems.org or (310) 440-4842.

Description
2011, Mary Harron, Canada/Ireland, 85 min.
With Sarah Bolger, Lily Cole
Intense friendships carry a whiff of the erotic in the closed environment of Brangwyn College, an elite girls’ prep school, in this simmering and smartly contemporary gothic vampire tale by cult director Harron (AMERICAN PSYCHO). Based on the novel by Rachel Klein, the film features an easy-on-the-eyes cast of nubile rising stars, and weaves themes of female bonding, jealousy, and love into a story that eerily teases with its psychosexual strains. Still mourning the suicide of her poet father, Rebecca (Bolger) finds a mentor in a handsome English teacher and solace in the bff status of roommate Lucy (Sarah Gadon), until the arrival of ethereal new girl Ernessa (Cole) alters the chemistry.
